Excellent breakfast which was freshly cooked unlike our appalling experience of motorway fare enroute. the black pudding was fluffy and light the sausages were tasty and eggs were cooked as requested. we only had 2 evening meals but my choice of rack on black was delicious. my partner chose broccoli with cream cheese bake and was full of praise but enthused even more over his tiger prawns with crab and melon

Heating was radiators, so house was very cold. owners were friendly enough. she did say that the room was very warm in the summer! other double room was quite small,ok for 1 night couldn't stay there any longer than a weekend at most unless had a bigger room as not enough space to move about in.
It was near the other hotel we had to go to for the wedding we were attending. they did cook a good breakfast.
