While the location was great, the street noise was a bummer. slept with ear plugs in. the room tempature was uncomfortably warm (in early sept.)and we couldn&#039.t adjust the thermostat. plus: unlimited access to internet at computer in lobby. hotel staff very friendly. breakfast was your typical yogurt, breads, cheeses, meats, fruits--nice.... This is a fantastic villa. a true tuscan experience - from the windy single lane road to the villa, to the historic villa itself, the grounds and the surrounding countryside. we had the raphaello suite - a two bedroom, two bathroom suite on the ground level in the main building with high, open beam ceilings, a huge traditional fireplace, harvest table and traditional/antique furniture. it was excellent and even better than the photos. very spacious, especially the master...
