Excellent hotel, with great free drinks and snacks in the bar and rooms. clean, quite central location. would stay here again.

We had a very comfortable night and the location meant we enjoyed as much of amsterdam as we could on an overnight stay.
Great central location - tram stops just outside main shopping area and restaurants just across the square,friendly helpful staff,very big comfortable beds, nice and clean.
Only downside was lack of hotel parking, had to pay ?50 to park overnight in a multi-storey car park over the road, but i would imagine this problem is common to... ( Note : 18/20 - le 06/01/2009 - Activehotels )

This hotel is very good indeed - especailly compared to many noted during our stay. it is within very easy waliking distance of the main museums and galleries and the concerthall - and the boat trips! but the lack of wardrobe space and affordable breakfasts are negatives which might be corrected.
Canal view from clean and bright room and friendliness of staff both excellent.
