I stayed at the croce d malta for six days in august. as far as i can gather, it is fairly reasonably priced for florence. furthermore, the price i got through venere.com was actually lower than the price the hotel had quoted me directly. the decor of the rooms was pleasant, and the rooms were clean. the staff were helpful and friendly. it's a pity the facilities in the hotel were not used more and the hotel could do more to encourage this - some soft music in the bar perhaps? a...
