We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 4 star hotel. we decided to have a special week-end, so thought we would pamper ourselves. it was a disappointment. there are 3 star hotels in galway that are twice as good as this one. there is nothing special about the hotel. it does not impart the good-feel factor we were looking for. it certainly is not of the standard of other 4 star hotels we have stayed at. however the maid was most pleasant & the girl at reception seemed... Location is the only negative here: it is a little out of town & the bus service is limited. excellent breakfast room, superb staff, every facility. i traveeled with my wife who has special needs; the kindness & consideration of the staff were much appreciated....
