Would have preffered to have a more comfprtable bed and bathroom facilities staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. nothing seemed too much for them. my daughter and her boyfriend had not stayed in a hotel before and were worried that they would feel uncomfortable as it might be too 'posh' for them. they loved it! and felt valued. the food was excellent

We enjoyed our lovely spacious bedroom although we needed to turn on the radiator on arrival. jock's bar was excellent with delicous food well presented and such friendly, efficient staff. equally breakfast was a good experience. we didn't use the lounge but it looked most comfortable and the selection of books drew our attention. we would have have liked to spend more time in the well stocked shop.

Our stay was only for a long weekend we already had arranged our travel around the area. however the staff, the owner and other non residential quests were helpful and friendly. have already recommended it to others who are traveling to try out the local golf courses.
