The service levels in this hotel were appalling. if you like to be ignored by the staff then this is the place to stay.

I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. my only regret is not being able to request a room with a sea view which would have made the weekend perfect! booking on-line was a drawback in this respect. all in all it was a completely positive experience and i hope to be a guest at the hythe imperial again soon. the restaurant was wonderful, as were the staff and the location. many thanks for a lovely weekend!

A fine collection of buildings make up the master builder's house hotel. the hotel is situated in a heritage village that was a ship builders' yard at the time of nelson and trafalgar. the location at bucklers hard is beautiful and the views from room 21 of the yachts on the river are wonderful. the breakfast was very nice and the staff were cheerful and helpful. highly recommended. just down the road from the national motor museum at beaulieu and surrounded by the...
