Generally a very pleasant stay. the hotel still appears to cater more for groups than lone guests. a clearly segregated dining room with set tables would help.
All mod cons and high standard of furnishing. food very good quality, well cooked and good value.

A very pleasant hotel in a quiet location with easy acces to the motorway and town centre.
Large spacious queen bed room which smelt very pleasant. staff very supportive and informative. car parking and access excellent.

An excellent hotel which was close enough to northampton for my meeting early the next morning but tucked away in a lovely little village which was very peaceful and quiet. the accomodation was very good but needs a bit of tlc as the bathroom was in desparate need of re-decoration, although this did not spoil my stay. very comfortable lounges and bar area, watch the beam on the way down the stairs as i bumped my head. staff were friendly but felt a bit forgotten about in the bar. the... Only real dislike was the access to the small car park. you have to be on the same side of the road (dual carriageway) to access the narrow slip road which is a bit bumpy.
Nice adequate room, very nice staff and overall very clean hotel. wouldn't hesitate returning.

Reasonable room. staff very helpful and friendly. breakfast was good and we were able to eat earlier than advertised as we had an early start.

The price was good

When we arrived at the hotel at lunchtime (about 12.30)the bar wasn't open and only opened after repeated asking.(we had driven up from bournemouth for a family funeral at 2.00p.m and were tired and needed something to eat beforehand.once open(after a 20 minute wait)they offered toasted sandwiches which took another 20 minutes to arrive. we had little time to eat them. we had booked a table in the restaurant ( a week in advance )for 12 at 8p.m.when i booked i asked if...
