Fantastic location for town centre, clean & tidy but a little expensive for basic room.

The people in the next room were very noisy in the early hours and their langauge was terrible whilst verbally fighting in the hall way, signs should be displayed asking for people to have a little respect for other guests and to keep the noise to a minimum... Check in was slow. staff all v friendly.... didnt like being sent back to my room to collect a towel!!!!!! my partner who was already in the pool was given one by the pool attendant...

Stayed before over several years at odd times. parking is good new owners in 2006 still in process of upgrading furniture decoration, new chairs for rooms awaited. menu very good for a small hotel, good choice of food the pork tenderloin was cooked well as was the veg!! good breakfasts.... This hotel is one of the best i have stayed in - mainly down to the attentiveness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble - even had a welcome letter typed ready in the room!!! - will definately be staying again
