We had a family room for 3 which was very comfortable and spacious. breakfast was very good and the owners were lovely. there are no evening meals at the hotel, but there are restaurants nearby. there is also a cinema within walking distance. warwick castle is only 5 mins away by car. parking in warwick castle was â£3 all day. we had a very enjoyable short break. The voucher option for breakfast was not shown on the website or mentioned when telephoned reception prior to stay. this would have been helpful and a very good selling point.... ( Note : 18/20 - le 12/03/2008 - Activehotels )

Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. excellent food in the restaurant - the hotel has every justification for boasting about this in their advertising. apart from morning and evening rush-hours, the hotel is in a quiet location, but only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Big comfortable bed Fixtures and fittings in the room reminded me of a hotel i stayed in in moscow in 1980, but i appreciate that upgrading is taking place. only 5 tv... The staff were very friendly and helpful. better directions would be useful. please do not assume that everyone will be coming via the motorway systems! a friendly place to stay. it is much better inside than the outside would suggest... ( Note : 16/20 - le 30/04/2008 - Activehotels )

It was dirty. the bathroom was dreadful and not clean. every time we used the loo it moved. the bed was uncomfortabe the beakfast was not nice . we were staying for 2 nights and felt that we could not come back to the room during the day as there was only one chair and couldn'nt sit to read or relax. there was only the bed. it seems that this hotel catered for workers/contractors in the main if i had known this beforehand i would not have booked The proprietor was...
