Friendliness of hosts & bovril the dog. the breakfast choices were very good & the room was clean & comfortable, especially the size of the bed!

The way in which breakfast is served could be greatly improved. not even allowed to collect own cereal / fruit juice, but service was very slow - even to get an initial acknowledgement from waiter/ess and get a pot of tea - but there was never any acknowledgement or apology for our long waits which increased as our stay progressed. only had evening meal once but veg was decidedly overcooked. tv reception was terrible - especially bbc1 - which was virtually unwatchable by the end...
