The weekend we stayed at jolyons was cold and wet - it was so nice to be able to come back to a hotel that was warm and comfortable.the view of cardiff bay from the bedroom was spectacular particularly the welsh assembly building.

We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions in order to visit our sons at the university. it is always the same standard of cleanliness and comfort. the food is excellent and very well served by competent, friendly staff. there is also a nice swimming pool. the hotel is well placed for shopping in the main part of the city and has the advantage of an underground car park. although there are many hotels in cardiff, we wouldn't want to try anywhere else as we are very happy... We would have preferred there be a seperate bar for hotel guests or a quiter bar: queueing to get drinks and not being able to find a seat in the bar area spoilt the evenings and it was very loud.... ( Note : 16/20 - le 02/04/2008 - Activehotels )

We had a great stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was much more than we expected and the quality of food was excellen. we have no complaints whatsoever and will use it the next time we come to cardiff

Normally we choose to stay in an hotel. this is the first time we have chosen an apartment and have been very pleased with the space and freedom that this has given to us. knowing the car was safely parked in a secure area also gave us peace of mind. although we did not fully use the well equipped kitchen in our short stay the facility of having a fridge/freezer was very useful. we certainly would consider this type of accommodation in the future.
