Superb hotel with first class customer service - rarely found these days - and the food is of the highest standard. the hotel has clearly been renovated recently and this shows in the high quality of the rooms. the rooms are minimalistic but if there is anything you need that isn't immediately available, the ever-helpful staff are more than willing to help you out. as for value for money - with a weekend deal you won't find anywhere better.

Was value for money very clean, and friendly helpful staff would certainly stay again. we have stayed in the hilton across the road twice (we attend a reunion every year) and in my and my husbands opinion for the extra we pay at the hilton we prefer the victoria in every way.every one at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful thank you all for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. receptionist took trouble to copy and highlight a map to my onward destination in the town. short but high quality menu, well cooked food prepared to order, served piping hot. and they use local suppliers
Very comfortable bed, quiet room with view over open field, ample parking near the room. i was offered the choice of an upstairs room but the hotel felt so safe that i did not feel the need.

Excellent old fashioned station hotel with a grand entrance and staircase. good value snacks in the residents bar - but better beer in the spirit of bradford bar. its difficult to drive to - study those instructions carefully. we stayed when going to the football - an excellent choice as the ground is around 10 minutes walk away. would definately stay again.

Overall impression is ok. food in the restaurant was excellent. welcome was excellent. pool is very nice. gardens are very nice. room facilities are rather old-fashioned - but not probably appropriate for the prices charged. we would stay there again.

Friday night was comedy club night-3 course meal included, food and entertainment were first class.staff were very helpful and pleasant.breakfast was excellent.the room was bigger than i expected.did not use the leasure centre.good value for money and would recommend this hotel.would return without doubt.
