The count and countess were most charming, warm, and down to earth. loic has a wonderfully dry wit, and the &quot.tour&quot. of the chateau was a superb treat! caroline made us feel so welcome and comfortable. our room was huge! please remember this is out in the country, so there were a few beetles around, but nothing that disturbed or frightened us. an additional treat was the beautifully prepared and delicious dinner we had one night! we will return!!... An excellent room on the second floor, very spacious and clean, with very large clean bathroom with good shower and hairdryer etc - just what was needed after very long journey. did not try the restaurant below but it was obviously popular with locals. breakfast typical french ie not large but fresh coffee/tea provided and unobtrusive efficient staff. other residents looked to be mainly business people (on a thursday night). only niggle was reception on arrival night -... N'ayant pas fr&quenté d'hotel campanile depuis plusieurs années, je trouve que la qualité de la prestation globale a beaucoup baissé.
