This was a lovely welcoming hotel with friendly staff who were very helpful. the rooms were large & clean with plenty of space and the hotel was well situated. there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there was a good restaurant for evening meals. buffet breakfast was good. we particularly enjoyed looking at all the pictures and stamp collections of whales in all the corridors.

We had some initial problems checking in due to the busy season and a glitch in their reservation system. thankfully, the staff were very apologetic and anxious to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. the pleasant attitude of the staff is reason enough to return to this hotel!
