A really charming and peacful residence which suits the needs of people wanting a quiet restful break. very handy for the beach and main tourist areas, just a 10 min walk to main centre. great staff, very friendly and welcoming. useful base for anyone which to travel around east of island. highly recommended... The view from the hotel room is nice, however, the rooms are very tiny, and in france this four star hotel would be rated 2*superior. food was excellent, and it's cosy atmosphere.
We didn't like the welcoming, because a receptionist ignored us for at least 5 minutes, animation is poor, the beds are bad quality, the matrasses keep shifting, the rooms are tiny, they don't change sheets every day in the rooms, the tourists in adjacent rooms can... We followed the directions from the airport the hotel website gave - they were poor (and maybe incorrect!). the management took deposit amounts for our group from one room's account - and not that of the payer, thus making settlement of our bills difficult, though quite easily resolved. apart from that, the hotel served its purpose, which was a resting place for a group of golfers.
