We had a wonderful 3 days in bilbao and the silken gran hotel was a great place to return to each day after sightseeing. Location in relation to the guggenheim museum was a factor in making the choice for us. the modern appearance and attractive facilities were very appealing and the furnishings in the suite and in the business centre were marvellous. The hotel location and exterior is fantastic, right by the riverside in the heart of bilbao. the bedrooms are excellent with fantastic bathrooms. everything in the bedroom and bathroom worked! the only downsides were no room in the restaurant for an evening meal and no attempt to assist with an alternative until pushed. the coffee shop cum bar is limited with an unusual menu for this type of facility. food in the coffee shop is very expensive for what it is. most staff were...
