Well, it was cheap and that was good. it was also within walking distance of the restaurant (ramsons) which was the reason for our visit to ramsbottom in the first place. the setting was pretty good, too. but it was just incredibly old-fashioned. this made it look tatty, which it probably wasn't. i guess it needs a terribly expensive re-fit - but i appreciate that may not be possible or economic. the breakfast was first class, by the way.

Really friendly environment, comfortable clean rooms, excellent food and helpful staff. the gym and pool facilities are very good, with plenty of equipment available. i stay away quite regularly on business and this is one of the best i have come across. i would definately use this hotel again in the future.

My husband and i were very pleased withour hotel the food the accomodation ,the setting and the staff were all very enjoyable and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone. the smoking issue was my only concern as i was not aware of this prior to check in. saying that i loved my stay there.
The accomodation was clean and well maintained ,staff were helpfull friendly and pleasant. it was near to where we wanted to be.
