The appearance of hotel was good and the price paid was very reasonable the staff helpfull and a pleasant stay the only disapointment not a quality cumbrian brekfast

Good hotel, excellent food. didn't have set evening meal, but food served in bar was from same kitchen and a high standard for the price. staff very helpful. very peaceful, but lots of people about - even in february. very popular stop but would get very busy in summer.

Great hotel to visit for a break away from it all. make sure you set time aside to use the facilities. the spa treatments are absolutely superb, and the staff there were very nice, pleasant and professional. the treatments also offer very good value. we'd definitely go back.
