Room was clean
1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and ! bath mat for 2 people no milk for tea in room inadequate toiletries corridor outside room smelled like a wet dog because it was damp ( paint peeling off 1 meter up wall on left hand side of door paint on skirting boards bubbling up because of damp could not open drawers on dresser because bed too close. poor reception, no way of alerting receptionist that customers were waiting when she was not at post. hence long... Not value for money we have stayed in many hotels. if it wasn't for the noise and being able to sleep without noise inside or outside of hotel it would have been ok. 200+ for 2 nights very disappointing. if it was 100.00 for both it would be more acceptable. cocktail bar is lovely and the staff are a credit to the hotel. if it wasn't for them i think the hotel would not do as well as a business.

We were happy with our stay but would not want to pay more than £49 for a room.
When we checked in after booking our room on-line the man in reception told us he would be charging us £62 for one night. we had booked for two nights each costing £49. he had to get assistance to sort this and i was glad i had the confirmation to prove what we had booked. the staff were very pleasant and helpful and sorted the problem.... Very good value, very good facilities, friendly staff
Excellent facilities for a short stay (trouser press/ironing board particularly appreciated!), in lovely surroundings, and regret not having enough time to take advantage of all the leisure facilities.
