Clean, tidy and presentable hotel.

I would liked to have known that my room was overlooking a main road and that it would be noisy. i didn't get much sleep. the hotel was pleasant but could do with an update. staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The location was good. right at the top of the high street. didn't need to rent a car. walking distance to the train station.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully located hotel. the rooms were pleasant and very clean. we dined in the restaurant and the atmosphere was excellent, service good and also the food.

Excellent location, lovely rooms, poor reception service, i had to ask all the questions about: papers, breakfast facilities and timings, and where room actually was, as i had not stayed before. everyone other than that was terribly helpful, and would recommend the hotel.
