Booking confimation did not give detailed instructions as to how to find the hotel. a lengthy internet address was provided with no auto link. badly designed bathroom with no shelf space adjacent to the sink. this is a serious problem that needs a solution. poor wardrobe facilities in the room for two people staying multiple nights... Unpleasant, poor and typical of an english hotel service. would not use again, premier inn is far better and gives better value - take that as a major insult! Checked in by internet which gave impression that i had paid. later told i had not then moved to pontlands hotel becuae of building work promised advice re taxi which has to chase arrived back in evening hotel locked up and lights turned out tried to check out in morning and no staff anywhere... The room and hotel were fantastic. i was only sorry i was there on business and didn't have time to appreciate the hotel to it's full benefit. Meals were rather expensive which made the bonus of the late booking slightly irrelevant.... ( Note : 20/20 - le 20/04/2009 - Activehotels )
